A dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to help patients facilitate recovery, promote overall health, and manage conditions, such as diabetes. They work with patients to understand health challenges, track progress, and design meal plans.
Dietitians are necessary for elderlies because they have the medical expertise to provide disease-specific dietary strategies and closely track progress to reach optimal health outcomes.
Family members and/or caretakers can prepare the necessary documents before an appointment:
a copy of the patient’s blood tests and their medical history (current medication,
past illnesses). In addition, the dietitian will expect to learn more about the patient’s diet, lifestyle, and exercise habits.
Our nutritional therapy services can be provided in the hospital or at home. Although hospitals/clinics may be better equipped with therapeutic tools and machines, there are many treatments that do not require such specialised equipment, and can be done anywhere. No matter the location, our dietitians ensure that every patient will get one-on-one attention and close supervision.
A dietitian assessment is $1,800/session (1-hour). Follow-up sessions is $900/session (30-mins). If you would like a personal quotation, please contact us for more pricing information.
