  • I don't have experience, can I still apply for jobs?

Yes, you can still apply for jobs even if you don't have experience. Many of our clients are open to hiring candidates who are eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges. Highlight your skills, education, and any relevant activities that demonstrate your potential.

  • How can I improve my chances of being matched for a shift?

Here are some tips to improve your chances of being selected:

    1. Apply for more shifts: Clients value consistency and prefer caregivers who can cover multiple shifts. This not only simplifies scheduling for you but also helps you improve on the job

    2. Be reliable: Always arrive on time. No-shows, frequent cancellations, and late arrivals can hurt your chances of being matched for future jobs

    3. Maintain a positive attitude: Approach each job positively. Client feedback on your performance is recorded and can boost your opportunities

    4. Market yourself: Enhance your profile by uploading relevant certificates, work experience, and skills. This provides clients with a clearer view of your qualifications.

    5. Present a professional image: Use a professional profile picture and consider wearing an Evercare uniform to enhance your overall appearance

  • How do I know if I'm qualified for a job?

We tailor job listings to match your profile. All the jobs you see in the app indicate that you are qualified for those positions.

  • Why can't I see jobs on the page?

If you can't see any jobs in the app, it might mean your account hasn't been verified yet.

If you are verified, your profile may not match the requirements of available jobs. Please update your profile or check the app regularly, as we continuously add new jobs.

  • How do I know if my shift is confirmed?

After a shift is confirmed, you will receive a notification through the Evercare app. You will also see the confirmed shift in your “Schedule” page.

On days with an applied shift, you should see a green dot under the date. After clicking into the date, you will see the shift at the bottom of the screen, with a “Confirmed” status. You may also view your shifts using the list-view by clicking on the icon on the top right corner of the app.

  • Why is my job application rejected?

Your job application may be rejected for several reasons, including:

    • Insufficient shifts: If you didn't apply for enough shifts, the client may select other applicants who can work more shifts
    • More suitable candidates: There may have been other applicants whose skills, experience, or availability more closely matched the job requirements
    • Competition: High competition for positions can make it challenging to secure a role, even if you are a strong candidate

Don't get discouraged by a rejection. Keep applying to other jobs to increase your chances!

  • How do I cancel pending applications?

Steps to cancel a pending application:

    1. Tap the "Schedule" icon on the bottom navigation menu

    2. Click on the date of the applied shift you would like to cancel

    3. Click on the pending shift application

    4. In the shift details page, click on the three dots in the top right corner

    5. Click the "Cancel shift" button

    6. Select "Yes, cancel" in the pop-up notification to confirm
