Contest Shift Time and Payment FAQ

  • How do I contest a late clock-in?

    If you clock-in the shift 15 minutes after shift start time, it will be considered as "Late clock-in", you may submit a late clock-in contest through the app. There are 2 ways:


    Immediately when clocking-in:

    1. If you haven't clocked-in the shift 15 minutes after shift start time, the shift card will turn to red.

    2. Click the “Start Shift” button to clock in the shift, you will see a prompt of "You clocked-in late"

    4. Click "Contest late clocked-in" button

    5. Adjust the clock-in time and reason

    6. Click submit


    After a shift ends, within 48 hours: 

    1. Tap the "wallet" icon on the bottom navigation bar

    2. Click on the shift

    3. On the bottom of the page, find "would like to request other payment issues?", click "Request" 

    4. Click "Late clock-in contest"

    5. Adjust the clock-in time and reason

    6. Click submit


    After your request has been approved, the payment of this shift will be adjusted in the wallet page.

    * All clock-in contests must be submitted within 48hours of the shift end time. Any requests submitted after 48hour will not be entertained. 

    * Please note that we will confirm with the client before approving your overtime request. 

  • How do I contest a no show?

    If you never clocked-in after shift end time, you will be charged a $400 no-show fee. You must contest a no-show within 48 hours of shift end time: 

    1. Tap the "wallet" icon on the bottom navigation bar

    2. Click on the shift

    3. On the bottom of the page, find "Would like to waive no show charge?", click "Request" 

    4. Select the reason for no-show: 

      -  Forgot to clock-in: Please submit your actual start and end work times, and fill in the reason, then click "Submit."

      -  Did not work due to illness/personal emergencies: Fill in the reason for absence and upload relevant supporting documents, then click "Submit.

    5. After your request has been approved, you will see the updated payment for this shift in the wallet page.

  • What do I do if I am requested to work overtime?

    We want to make sure you are paid for your hard work. If you have worked for more than 15 minutes after your agreed shift end time, please let us know by submitting an overtime request within 48 hours. There are 2 ways to request for overtime:


    1. Immediately after clock-out

        1. Tap the "schedule" icon on the bottom navigation bar

        2. In your "In Progress" shift, click on "I completed the shift"

        3. If you meet the overtime requirement, a pop-up prompt will appear. Click "Yes, I want to report OT"

        4. Enter your requested end time and click "Submit"


    2. At wallet page, wihthin 48 hours of shift end time

        1. Open the app and tap the "Wallet" icon on the bottom navigation bar

        2. Click on the shift

        3. On the bottom of the page, "Would like to request other payment issues?", click "request" 

        4. Click "Overtime"

        5. Adjust the clock-in time and reason

        6. Enter your requested end time and click "Submit"

    * All overtime requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the shift end time. Any requests submitted after 48 hours will not be entertained

    * Please note payment will not be immediate reflected in your wallet as we will confirm with the client before approving your overtime request

  • How do I request to clock-out early?

    Clock-out at clients (as needed), and then clock-out early on the app.


    To clock-out early on the app:

    1. Open the app and tap the "schedule" icon on the bottom navigation bar

    2. In your "In Progress" shift, click on "Need to clock out early? Request here"

    3. Enter your requested end time and reason

    4. Click submit

  • I forgot to clock-out on the app. What do I do?

    Please clock-out the shift no more than 15 minutes after the shift end time. If you forgot to clock-out beyond the valid time period but ended the work on time:


    Clock-out in "Late" page:

    1. Tap the yellow big button "Late" which shows on all pages

    2. Find the shift card that you haven't clocked out

    3. Click "I completed the shift"

    4. Select "No, I ended shift on time"


    Clock-out on schedule page:

    1. Tap "schedule" icon on the bottom navigation bar

    2. Select the date that has the shift you want to clock-out

    3. You will see the late clock-out shift card turns to red

    4. Click "I completed the shift"

    5. Select "No, I ended shift on time"

  • I have a family emergency, will I still get penalised?

    If the shift is cancelled within 48 hours before the start time, please contact us on WhatsApp detailing your family emergency. We will handle on a case by case basis.

  • How do I submit sick notes for cancelled jobs?

    Please cancel your shift through our app.

    1. Tap the "Schedule" icon on the bottom navigation menu

    2. Click on the date of the confirmed shift you would like to cancel

    3. In the shift details page, click on the three dots in the top right corner

    4. Click the "Cancel shift" button

    5. Input "sick leave" for your reason for cancellation

    6. Submit a supporting medical certificate within 48 hours upon cancellation (the date on the medical certificate must match the shift date)

  • Can I waive the cancellation administrative fee?

    If you cancel a shift within 48 hours before the shift start due to sick leave, the administrative fee will be automatically waived after your medical certificate is approved.


    If you need to cancel a shift within 48 hours before the start of work due to special circumstances, you can apply for an administrative fee waiver using the following steps. Evercare will review each cancellation individually and handle it on a case-by-case basis:


    1. Tap the "Wallet" icon on the bottom navigation menu

    2. Click on the shift, and go to the "Breakdown" page

    3. Find "Would like to waive late cancellation charge?", click "Request"

    4. Select the reason, and upload supporting document, if required

    5. Click "Submit"


    Once your application is approved, the system will automatically waive the administrative fee.


    Applications for waiving the late cancellation administrative fee must be submitted within 48 hours after canceling the work; late submissions will not be accepted.
